Behavior Specialist 1

My name is Makayla Ahart. I am originally from Wilmington, NC, born and raised. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from North Carolina Wesleyan University.  I have been a Behavior Specialist 1 and with the team since 2023.

My goal as a Behavior Specialist 1 is to help make a difference in the lives and in the counties that we serve. My job as a Behavior Specialist is to teach tools and life skills that can help impact the lives of those we see come through our program. By investing in skills and tools now, we are equipping our clients to handle whatever comes their way effectively when the time is right.
